A welcome message from our Director: Receive a warm welcome to the Dutch Antillean division of IVAO (International Virtual Aviation Organization). Our territory consist of 5 beautiful Caribbean islands: Sint Maarten, Saba and Sint Eutatius in the Windward regio, and Bonaire and Curacao, North off the Venezuelan coast and east to the island of Aruba, that left the group of Netherlands Antilles in 1987, but is still part of the Dutch Kingdom. Today, our political situation within the kingdom is still under discussions, but there is one thing that will always keep us united: Our friendly people. The greatest potential and biggest beautiness making our islands the sweetest place to be!. Our official language is Dutch, but most of the people speaks Papiamentu (in Curacao and Bonaire) and English (in St. Maarten, Saba and St. Eustatius) as primary languages. Also, because of our historical relations with South America, many people may speak Spanish as well. All these influences, besides the important amount of immigrants from Europe, Asia, Latin America, Suriname, etc, make of us a multi-ethnical and multi-cultural environment. NEW MEMBERS START HERE!

THE NETHERLANDS ANTILLES: Autonomous territories within the Kingdom of the Netherlands consisting of several islands in the Caribbean Sea, including Curaçao and Bonaire off the coast of Venezuela and Saba, St. Eustatius, and the southern portion of St. Martin (Sint Maarten) in the northern Windward Islands. Willemstad, on Curaçao, is the capital. Currently, all the islands are receiving individual statuses, but still remaining under the same Kingdom.
